What made you happy or upset, amazed and interested this week? This is what Vecherka asks its subscribers and readers every week.

"People's anger hurts a little"

Anastasia Averyanova, merchandiser:

- Recently I went to the theater to see Tales of the Vienna Woods. Soloists and the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus came. I don't really like classical music, but this time I really liked it.
In general, I work a lot, rarely get out somewhere. When the weekend comes, I just turn off the phone and devote the whole day to myself, for example, watching my favorite movies.
It's good that now there are a lot of coffee shops in the city. Almost every shopping center where I lay out the goods, you can drink a cup of coffee.
The anger of people upsets me a little. I have to work with different people, but, for example, when I'm not in the mood, I will never show it. It's a shame when my friendly address is simply snorted in my face. After that, the whole day is not set.

“I like the TV program “Understand. Forgive"

Galina Borisovna Myagkova, pensioner:

“I have great-grandchildren. Finally got it! Every time I watch with tenderness how they grow. And I don't go outside very often. Basically the clinic. To get to the doctor, you need to wait a long queue. And I am a disabled person of the second group.
I like to read very much, I have a big library at home. Recently, I like to watch the TV program “Understand. Forgive": there such vital family stories are told. But the fact that the series "1001 Nights" was moved to midnight is bad.

“I bought a refrigerator in installments. Here is the most pleasant event "

Alexandra Khrapko, dispatcher:

I recently purchased a refrigerator. There was a good discount at Euroopt: I got the refrigerator for 620 rubles. I bought, however, in installments on the Halva card. Here's my happiest event so far.
Now I work without days off, as a colleague went on vacation. So I get a little tired at work.
I really like to read "Evening Bobruisk" on the site on the Internet. Most of all I look through the news and poster of events.

“I’m not happy that Euroopt was converted into Brusnichka”

Tatiana Danilenko, pharmacist:

- I'll start with the negative. I am unhappy that the Euroopt store at 66 Ulyanovskaya Street has been converted into the Brusnichka discounter. It became quite inconvenient to make purchases. I really liked the discount program at Euroopt, I participated in the game Luck in addition. Now I have to go to another store.
Of the pleasant events of recent days, I can name my trip to Egypt. Rested! I always buy a ticket where "all inclusive". Then this is a real vacation, you do not need to worry about anything. In general, I try to take a vacation twice a year and go somewhere, recharge with positive energy.

“Returned from Turkey, a lot of impressions!”

Tamara Mikhailovna Podvalskaya, pensioner:

I have just returned from Turkey. I stayed there for 9 days. A lot of impressions from the trip. I booked a ticket in a Bobruisk travel company. It turned out quite inexpensively: with the move and accommodation in a 4-star hotel, I paid about $ 380. How did you collect for the trip? And I prefer to save money, I don’t take expensive products, for example, in the store.
And now I’m moving away from traveling - every weekend in the country. This autumn, a very good crop of zucchini. And I go to the forest all the time, picking mushrooms. And then I make marinades and freeze for the winter.
That’s why I have no time to be upset that I’m always busy with something!

At the end of August, new format stores near the house appeared in Minsk under the new name "Brusnichka". This is a project of the largest retailer in Belarus - the Eurotorg company, which owns the Euroopt chain.

Five stores opened in Minsk in two days. Three more retail outlets will open in the coming days. The area of the stores of the new network will be in the range from 250 to 500 sq.m.

Andrey Zubkov, General Director of Eurotorg, in a comment to Onliner.by, said that Brusnichka is positioned on the market as a discounter and that over 90% of the goods presented in stores have prices lower than promotional prices of competing chains.

According to him, the control service of the Brusnichka network daily monitors prices in hypermarkets and supermarkets of all retail chains in Minsk and sets the lowest price for exactly the same goods.

Moreover, if the buyer finds somewhere in Minsk stores a price lower than in Brusnichtsy, he can report it - the very next day the price for this product will be lower than that of competitors.

In addition to the low price, the discounter format implies a very narrow range of products. However, in Belarus, MARCH established mandatory lists of goods to be included by trade entities in the assortment lists of goods for stores with a universal assortment of food products.

So, for example, for a grocery store with an area of 200-399 sq.m. it is necessary to have 3-4 types of milk, 4-5 - fermented milk products, 10-15 types of yogurt, 6-8 types of cottage cheese. One only needs to have 20 juices and 15 types of wine. In total, the minimum assortment of a store of this size should be more than 580 SKUs.

For a store with an area of 400-649 sq.m. this minimum is increased by about 30%. So in such conditions it is hardly necessary to talk about a full-fledged discounter format.

What is a discounter

Discounter or low price store - a store with a narrow assortment and a minimum set of services for customers, rather low prices.

The management of such a store is aimed at reducing costs due to the minimalist execution of the trading floor, simplified display of goods, reducing the number of employees, limiting the assortment, which should be sold in large enough lots due to low prices.

The first low-price stores (discounters) appeared in Germany in the mid-1950s, in conditions of relative economic stability and minimal inflation. Today, such stores account for more than 40% of the total turnover, while the profitability of the selling space in such outlets is ten times higher than that of traditional supermarkets.

Hard discounter characterized by savings on staff, product layout (mainly pallet layout), a narrow range of goods, mainly a consumer basket. A prominent representative of the hard discounter format is the German Aldi.

Soft discounter- a store of low prices, a self-service format, goods that are slightly beyond the assortment of the consumer basket.

It is also reported that "Brusnichka" does not accept Euroopt's discount cards and does not participate in its promotional games.

oka shops are open on the street. Nikiforova, 2, st. Pritytsky, 110, st. Serdicha, 7, st. Rafieva, 5, on the Starovilensky tract, 77-65. Andrey Zubkov emphasized that the possibilities of expanding the network in other regions of the country will be "considered in the future."

Mama, “There is panic in our city,” Lyova from Bi-2 burst out and continued: “People in cars are worried - they are being driven through a red light.” And indeed, a slight panic swept through the ranks of Minsk residents. Suddenly, almost overnight, some small Euroopts suddenly began to turn into Brusnichki. Apocalypse, doomsday, mama, are we all going to die? — in other words — does this mean that US AGAIN WILL BE FORCED TO PAY MORE FOR USUAL GOODS???

We decided to look into the situation on the spot - and that's what we managed to find out.

The discounter "Brusnichka" - the flesh of the flesh of Euroopt - is his child. And this, by the way, is interesting. Why did Euroopt suddenly need a new discounter brand, if for years it has been insinuating into our heads what is the real, cheapest and correct - read the most socially oriented D-I-S-K-A-U-N-T- E-R-O-M in our socially-oriented state? To know that something went wrong in the Kingdom of Denmark, if it was necessary to bring another discounter to the market, this time already guaranteed the cheapest - according to the statement of the chief operating boss of Euroopt, Mr. Zubkov. So guaranteed cheap that if you suddenly found a similar product cheaper in another retail chain, you can notify the operator company and it promises to immediately reduce the price for it in all Brusnichki.

It's great, but it's UNDERSTANDING. Recently, having completed in general terms the blitzkrieg to conquer the world by building the largest trading network in the republic, and this time ending it with a victory, Euroopt allowed itself to slightly end the games of social orientation and expose the bestial grin of capitalism, quietly pulling up prices to the mainstream - now only slightly differing in price from competitors - and not necessarily lower. For example, the author of this article almost managed to buy Duracell batteries for 13 rubles apiece in the Euroopt hypermarket, while the same ones were found in the neighborhood in Hippo for 9 kopecks. Well, this is understandable - the goal of the business is loot, no matter what anyone says there. And we were told from childhood - "trust, but verify!" This is probably why the Euro wholesale marketing exhortations “check out the price!” many, including your humble servant, have long been nothing but an ironic smirk. Already desire headlong run to check out exactly.

However, their games are even more confusing - if you don't already know - the prices in different Euroopt stores are different - and the prices are different even in hypermarkets, even those located in the same area, for example, the Leninsky district of Minsk. Apparently, the cunning marketers of Euroopt found ways to count the money in our pockets, thus determining the solvency of each specific plot.

And here, at this interesting turn of history, Brusnichka appears. Here she comes again, as they say) My attempt is number 5 number 2.

Damn burnt, but what about the prices ?? - otherwise, you understand, he spread a bodyagu, you say. Yes, what are the prices?

And that's what we decided to do.

Having sneaked (just kidding, the law allows such shooting) to both stores: cheap and, as it turns out, not so cheap - we captured the prices for exactly the same products for you, so that you could, without leaving your home and getting up from the couch - everything, how we love to conduct our own investigation of how fundamental the difference is. And we will start, perhaps, with the leader of our price fragmentation rating, which suddenly turned out to be Jockey coffee, 100 grams. Either someone mixed up something, or it was intended that way - but the difference in this position is very significant (2.33 rubles - Euroopt and 1.59 rubles - dear to the heart (yes, so quickly)) Brusnichka) and reaches sky-high 46.5% - i.e. almost 50%. See for yourself.

— Well, okay, what if the soul requires a holiday, as usual??

- A holiday? I have them!

- Well, all right, but after the holiday, sit with the naked zhe? Is there anything for this case?

“Yeah, the legendary rollton pasta bags, what would we do without them!”

“Damn, that’s all good, but I need vinegar!”

- Yes please!

It should be added that no promotional activity is planned for the Brusnichek chain, in other words, there will be no additional discounts and promotions, Euroopt savings cards also do not work - customers are offered to be content with the already lowest prices in the city.
